Opens every Tuesday evening from 8pm and has a licensed bar offering drinks at reasonable prices. There is a generous lounge area in which to relax and discuss all things about sailing, as well as many things which are not!
Lectures on marine topics by external speakers and by club members are held in the lounge area of the clubhouse and start at 8.30pm, see Winter Talks.
Social events such as the Laying-up Supper, Photo Competition, Quiz Night, Summer BBQ & New Members' Nights are also held in the clubhouse.
An annual 'Winter Walk & Lunch' is held in January or February, somewhere within the Guildford area.
The Summer Programme offers members an opportunity to cruise in company, meet in a harbour, marina or anchorage and dine out in a pub, local yacht club or self-cater with a BBQ or 'on safari'.
The Summer Cruise, for one or two weeks, ventures across the Channel or further along the coast to the 'West Country'.
Our ‘Stowaway’ programme offers an opportunity to crew on other member's boats and gain sailing experience, while also giving short-handed skippers an opportunity to find crew. Many members gain experience this way to see if they enjoy sailing and many have gone on to buy their own boat.
